For some time now musical artists have been branching out into other areas such as clothing lines, fragrances, footwear, cars and even energy drinks. Cameron is going where no other musical artist has gone before with the creation of his own color “pink”. Cameron's “pink” will be owned and copy written to the artist meaning that no one else can use this version of pink without the prior consent of Cameron himself. With traces of fuchsia and florescent pink Cameron's “pink” is still in the making and is due to be released sometime this year.

We all know that Cameron has set a new standard when it comes to men wearing pink. I will never forget the first time I saw a straight up thug wearing pink from head to toe and still managing to look street or when I first saw that pink Range Rover cruising down the streets of Harlem. Currently Cameron's pink Rover is up for bids on e-bay with the most recent bid bringing the price up to $190,000. Soon we can catch of glimpse of Cameron in his new pink Cadillac.

Who would have thought that a color which was often associated with characters like Barbie and Strawberry Short Cake can now be worn by the most masculine of men. Maybe we could look forward to other colors from the artists we love like J-Lo's “ Massachusetts 's White” or R-Kelly's “Premature Red” or even Christina Aguilera's “Envious Green”. Whatever the case may be the creation of this new color brings the realization that the sky is truly the limit when you have a voice and some major dough in this industry. Cameron recently surprised Angie Martinez on her radio show when he said, “Why not own a color? Everything is owned by someone…even on-air silence is owned by somebody!”
